Pictured here are the dapple-gray horses in the three standard
sizes we offer: large, medium, and small. Though dapple-gray
is the most traditional finish for rocking horses, you may
request any color you wish. The dappling is embedded deep
within twenty coats of the finest lacquer, giving a translucent
porcelain-like finish.
Two Styles to Choose From
All the horses are available on either
the traditional bow rocker or on the swing stand, a design
originating in America in the late-nineteenth century and
avidly adopted by European horse makers. The swing stand
enables the horse to move in an engagingly realistic way,
while the bow rocker displays particular charm and elegance
and moves with a classic fluidity.
